Description
22 and 23 Flowergate is a building that dates back to 1811, featuring a mid-19th century refronting of earlier structures. It stands three storeys high with a Welsh slate roof and a rendered exterior. The facade includes three windows with segmental arches and moulded architraves, and a continuous band above the cills. There are two canted bays that flank a central window with a pediment. The ground floor has two Edwardian and modern shop fronts. This building is included for its group value, as it forms a group with the Little Angel Public House and Nos 20 to 23 Flowergate, alongside Nos 1 to 3 and Nos 8 and 19 Abbey Inn Yard.
