Description

No 8 Abbey Inn Yard is a building dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of whitewashed stone and features a pantile roof. The front facade includes one double-hung sash window and one two-light mullion window, with modern windows located below. The entrance is a four-panel door topped with a flat wood hood supported by brackets. The side elevation of the building is rendered. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) and Nos 8 and 19, forming a cohesive architectural ensemble with the Little Angel Public House and Nos 20 to 27 (consecutive) on Flowergate.
