Description

56 High Street is a late 18th-century building that has been rendered. It stands three storeys tall and features a Welsh slate roof. The façade includes three windows with plain reveals, double-hung sashes, and glazing bars. A band continues across the cills. The building has a well-preserved early 19th-century shop front, which consists of two windows without glazing bars and a central door. This shop front is adorned with a plain frieze and cornice, as well as pilasters decorated with honeysuckle motifs at the capitals. There is also a stone plinth at the base. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 53 to 59, Nos 61 to 65, and Nos 68 to 73.
