Description
Quinney's Restaurant, located at No 26 West Borough, has origins dating back to the 17th century, with alterations and a new facade added in the 18th century. The building features rendered walls and a brick dentil cornice at the eaves, topped by a tiled roof and brick stacks. The ground floor includes a partly glazed entrance door sheltered by a simple classical hood supported by carved brackets, alongside a modern window. On the first floor, there are two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars and one blocked window. The attic has a dormer with side-hung casements. Inside, the ground floor reveals some exposed timber beams and remnants of a cornice, as well as traces of early stone and brick paving.
