Description
King's House Rumsey and Rumsey is an 18th-century building located on the west side of West Borough. It features brick walls with a brick dentil cornice at the eaves and a rendered platband at the first floor level. The roof is tiled, and there are brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic.
The central doorway has a six-panel raised panel door topped with a flat entablature supported by reeded pilasters. To the south of the door, there is a window that has been widened, featuring glazing bars and a brick arch that matches the original style. To the north of the door, there is a double-hung sash window with a central glazing bar. The first floor contains three double-hung sash windows with vertical glazing bars only. The attic has two dormers with hipped roofs, each fitted with side-hung casements and lead lights.
