Description

An early 19th-century pair of houses located on the east side of West Borough. The houses were originally listed as numbers 64 and 65. They feature brick walls and slate roofs hidden behind parapets, with brick stacks. The buildings are three stories high and include a central doorway, likely leading to a through passage. A stone platband runs along the first floor level. Each house has a ground-floor entrance doorway with a six-panel moulded door and a glazed fanlight featuring Gothic-style glazing bars, set within a recessed opening framed by gauged brick arches. Above the door are two round-headed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars and Gothic-style glazing in the heads, also set within recessed arches with gauged brickwork. The first and second floors each contain three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The facade remains largely unspoiled.
