Description
No. 41 on West Street, including an attached outbuilding, is a house dating from the 18th century. It is located at the right end of a terrace and features rubble stone walls, a stone slate roof, and brick stacks at the ends. The building has two storeys and an attic. The entrance consists of a part-glazed panelled door set beneath a segmental arch. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century casement windows with lead lights, while the first floor has two similar windows. The attic includes two hipped dormers, each with casements that have a central horizontal glazing bar. The attached outbuilding to the right is single-storeyed, with rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof. It has a pair of ledged garage doors, a single ledged door, and one shuttered window.
