The Forge is a two-storey building dating from the 18th century, featuring an attached outbuilding on the right. It is constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and has a slate roof with stone stacks at each end. The front has three windows with cambered-headed openings and stone voussoirs. Above, there are three 9-pane casements, while below, there are two 16-pane horned sashes and a centrally located ledged door. The left end wall is also made of rubble stone, and there is a lean-to at the rear.

The attached outbuilding to the right has a continuous wall and is single-storey with a roof that is hipped to the right. It features two cambered-headed doors with stone voussoirs, although the right doorway has been blocked.
