Detached house. Late C18 or early C19. Rendered, slate hipped roof. A compact symmetrical front range, facing S, with lower rear ranges. 2 storeys, 3 windows; 9 over 12-pane sashes in reveals, and central 4-panel door with radial fanlight in arched recess, on 2 steps. Ground floor is rusticated, on a plinth, and under a plat band. The left return has a small 9-pane sash. Stack to each end. At the rear is gabled wing with stack, and a lean-to one-storey unit with C19 plank door. This wing has C20 replacement windows. The principal entrance is through a small courtyard at the E end of the building, in an attached later range. INTERIOR: not inspected.
