Probably dating from the 18th century, No. 8 High Street is a house with an attached outbuilding to the north. The building has plastered walls and a thatched roof, with a brick chimney stack. It is two storeys high. A ledged door is situated within a modern brick porch covered with a slate roof. On the ground floor, there is one modern window and a fixed window with glazing bars. The first floor has one modern window and a casement window with glazing bars. The attached outbuilding contains a ledged door and a loft door above it. This building is of group value, contributing to the character of the street.
