Description

Peppercorn Cottage is a cottage that is part of a terrace, likely built in the 18th century. It features brick walls and a thatched roof, along with a brick chimney. The cottage has one storey and an attic. At the rear, there is a modern wing that also has one storey and an attic, with plastered walls and a thatched roof. A modern thatched porch with a ledged door is present at the entrance. The ground floor includes three horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars, while the attic has three half-dormers with similar sash windows. The main room on the ground floor contains a large open fireplace with a timber lintel and shows signs of a former bread oven.
