Description

This is a pair of houses, originally likely a single dwelling, probably dating from the 18th century. They form part of a terrace on the east side of Spring Street. The houses have roughcast walls and thatched roofs, with brick stacks. They are two storeys in height. A shared entrance has a ledged door with a small glass panel. On the ground floor are two horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has three similar windows. Inside, the main ground floor room in number 46B features a large open fireplace with a timber lintel. The houses are documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments entry, Monument 11.
