Description
Sexy's Farm House is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 18th century. It features plastered walls set on a stone base, with a thatched roof and brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high. The entrance includes a panelled door located in a timber porch that has a gabled tiled roof. On the ground floor, there are two double-hung sash windows with vertical glazing bars. The first floor has three horizontally sliding sash windows, also with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a single-storey wing that was formerly a dairy, which has brick walls and a tiled roof, along with a stable door and casement windows. Inside, one room on the ground floor contains a large open fireplace with a timber lintel, a complete bread oven, and remnants of another oven, which may have been used for charcoal.
