Description

A group of garden ornaments is located about 12 metres south of Mount Edgcumbe House. This collection includes a lead rainwater head dated 1763, which features a board and coronet, as well as mid-19th century ornaments. There is a stone bust of a female figure in Roman style on a pedestal, a small Roman altar with a pediment and a central inscription panel set on a pedestal (originally located in the Fernery), and six terracotta urns. These items are arranged at random in the rear courtyard of Mount Edgcumbe House.
