Description

The walls of the south west boundary of the Amphitheatre are two sections of garden boundary walls dating from the 18th century. They are constructed from sandstone random rubble and stand about 2 metres high. The walls end in square piers topped with pyramidal caps in the northern range and feature copings. These walls define the south western boundary of the Amphitheatre, with each section being approximately 100 metres long.
