Description

The Pebble Seat is an ornamental seat located in Edgcumbe Country Park, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features beach pebbles that have been worn by the sea. The design is in a picturesque style, with an elliptical shape. The rear wall stands about one metre high and includes piers on both the right and left sides. The pebbles are arranged in courses and laced together, showcasing high-quality stonework.
