Description

The Drip Stone is an 18th-century grotto located in Maker-with-Rame within Edgcumbe Country Park. It is constructed from large, roughly hewn blocks of granite and slatestone, set without mortar to create a round arch featuring a large keystone. Inside, there is a granite basin that receives water from the rear. The grotto measures approximately 2 metres deep and about 3 metres wide at the front, serving as a rustic picturesque feature in the park.
