Description
Veronica Cottage is a detached cottage from the 18th century, built with unplastered rubble stone and featuring timber lintels above the ground floor openings. It has a thatched roof and brick chimneys. The cottage is 1 and a half storeys high and has a symmetrical front with two windows, along with an extension. The ground floor includes two 12-pane horizontal sliding sash windows positioned directly above the ground floor windows. On the left gable end, there is a 4-pane casement window at the far end, with a 2-pane top-hung window above it. The right gable features a one-storey, whitewashed brick 19th-century extension that has a 12-pane casement window on the left side and a timber door on the right. The roof of the extension is slate, and there are two square early brick chimneys on the gable ends.
