Description
These are two adjoining barns located approximately 35 meters west of Trelill Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of granite rubble with some granite dressings. The left barn has a scantle slate roof, while the right barn has been replaced with an asbestos slate roof. Both barns have gable ends and are rectangular in shape, with the right-hand barn being shallower and set back at the front. They were likely used as granaries or for fodder storage over shippons, cartsheds, and stables.
The barns are two storeys tall and feature an irregular north-east front. The first floor of both barns is symmetrical, with central loading doorways and flanking windows, although the right-hand window opening is blocked. The left barn has a wide doorway to the left of the center and windows in two former doorways at the far left and towards the right. The ground floor of the right barn is mostly obscured by a 20th-century lean-to, but there is an original doorway on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
