House, building adjoining to north, and front garden wall and railings. Mid C19. Killas rubble with granite quoins, jambstones and lintels incised to resemble voussoirs. Hipped grouted scantle slate roof with wide bracketted eaves and rendered brick chimneys over side walls. Double depth plan with 2 principal front rooms, with entrance hall behind left-hand room with side doorway and side service rooms at rear. 2 storeys. 2-window south west front. Original 12 pane hornless sashes to first floor. Later hipped roofed bay windows to ground floor with horned sashes and sidelights. Entrance is within lean-to conservatory to side wall, left. Conservatory is circa early C20 with canted entrance to south west with quatrefoil glazing pattern to sidelights. South west gable end of garden building has original round-headed window with glazing bars. Cast iron ogee gutters. Interior not inspected. Low granite ashlar wall to front with iron railings. Round-headed granite monolith piers. This is one of a row of similar contemporary houses in St Johns Terrace which form an impressive group in spite of later alterations to some of the houses.
