Description

This is a cartshed located immediately west of Mowhay, dating from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan with a doorway at the southeast end. The exterior is single storey, and the only opening on the southeast gable end is a wide doorway that is spanned by a wooden lintel. Inside, the walls are lime-washed, and the original 19th-century roof structure remains intact.
