Description
This is probably a stable block dating from the mid-19th century, likely originally adjoining the gable end of a former 18th-century farmhouse, of which most remains have now been demolished. The building is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and has a gabled, scantle slate roof, with granite ogee gutters. It follows an L-shaped plan, probably containing three stables at the front, with a further stable or tack room in the short wing projecting at right angles to the left. The front elevation has a regular arrangement of three doorways, each fitted with old ledged doors. The rear has a central doorway and another doorway in the gable end that projects to the right. An altered window opening is visible on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
