Description

A farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century, situated near Trebehor. The building has a scantle slate roof with dressed granite stacks at the gable ends. The original plan likely comprised two rooms at the front – a parlour to the left and a wider kitchen/living room to the right – flanking a lobby entrance, which leads to a stair and small service rooms at the rear. A small outbuilding adjoins the front of the cottage on the left.

The south-south-east front is nearly symmetrical with three windows. The doorway, originally central to the fenestration, is positioned to the left of the middle. The original window openings remain, now containing circa late 19th or 20th century six-pane horned sash windows. A circa early 20th century door replaces the original. The rear elevation features a doorway towards the left, a window to the right of the middle, a first floor window to the left of the middle, and a small stair window towards the right.

The rectangular front garden is enclosed by low rubble walls and outbuildings, with a central gateway featuring round-headed granite gate-piers and a 19th-century wrought-iron gate. The interior was not inspected.
