Description

This granary, located 6 meters to the northeast of Treweatha Farmhouse, dates from around 1810 to 1820. It features a timber frame and is partly covered with slate, which has been replaced in some areas by horizontal boarding. The roof is a pyramidal shape made of scantle slate. The structure is almost square in plan and is supported by four rows of three granite round straddle stones, which accommodate the slope down to the northeast.

The south front has three granite steps leading up to a central plank door, which has a rectangular glazed opening to the right. On the lower right side, the slate hanging has been partly replaced by horizontal timber boarding, while the right and left side walls, along with part of the rear wall, are slate hung. There are 20th-century farm buildings that abut the rear elevation. The interior has not been inspected.
