Description

NORTH HILL TREBARTHA SX 27 NE 4/169 Granary approximately 80 metres to north of Trebartha Barton II Granary. Circa mid C19. Timber frame, hung with slates on exterior and raised above ground on granite staddle stones. Slate roof with hipped ends. Plan: Rectangular plan granary raised on six rows of three staddle stones. Entrance in side wall. Exterior: The granary has a plank door in the side wall approached by a flight of granite steps, at least one step reusing earlier dressed stone. The staddle stones have square-on-plan tapered shafts with round tops. Interior: Timber panelled to dado level and plastered above. Internal divisions removed.
