Description
The gate, gate-piers, chain fence, and piers at the entrance to High Park Lodge were built in 1897, as indicated by a datestone. The entrance features a pair of granite gate-piers that are square in plan, supporting a high-quality wrought-iron gate that bears the arms of the Rodd family. Flanking the entrance to the drive are two rows of granite piers, also square in plan, which support a heavy chain-link fence. High Park Lodge served as the entrance lodge to Trebartha Hall, which has since been demolished.
