Description
This milestone, located to the northeast of High Park Lodge, dates from around the mid-19th century and is made of painted granite. It features an unusual design, consisting of a double post with two triangular heads positioned at a fork in the road. The left post is inscribed with 'FIVE LANES' and the right post with 'LAUNCESTON'. Distances to various locations are also marked, including Bodmin (18 miles), Callington (9 miles), Camelford (22 miles), and Plymouth (13 miles). The distance to Liskeard is noted at the base as 10 miles.
