Description

Skew Bridge is a road bridge over the River Lynher, likely built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from stone rubble and dressed granite. The bridge features a single span with a dressed stone segmental arch that includes a key block. The stone rubble parapets have granite coping and are splayed over the abutments, ending in round piers topped with dressed granite caps. Skew Bridge is located to the northwest of the site of the demolished Trebartha Hall.
