Description
The structure consists of a wall, gatepiers, a gate, and an arch located to the south and west of Higher Trevartha Farmhouse. This was built around the early 19th century, with a reused granite arch that may date back to the 17th century. The low rubblestone wall extends south from the farmhouse. The granite gate piers are square in shape and topped with ball finials, supporting a wrought iron gate. There is a rubblestone mounting block on the west side. The wall continues at a higher height to the west of the farmhouse, featuring a re-set granite three-centred arch with a large unornamented keystone.
