Description
Hendra Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around the mid-18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof with hipped ends and overhanging eaves. The hipped ends have brick shafts, with the right side rendered. The building has a double depth plan with a rear wing, creating an 'L' shape.
The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a regular four-window front, with a straight joint near the center. On the left side, there are two tall 16-pane sash windows. The entrance features a six-panelled door set within an open porch that has a flat roof supported by two granite piers with rounded bases and caps. To the right, there is another 16-pane sash window. All windows are fitted with crown glass. The interior has not been inspected.
