12/79 Granary loom to west of Pathada Farmhouse

Granary. Circa 1810. Timber frame, slate hung with pyramidal scantle slate roof. Supported on row of 4 staddle stones to front (east) and rubblestone piers to rear. Rectangular in plan. East front with central plank door. Lower rows of slate hanging replaced with metal sheets. Rectangular openings on north with louvers removed. Internal slotted dividing boards remain King post truss roof. Granary moved from farmyard to present position circa 1980s. ~
