Description

MADRON SW 43 SE 7/97 Wash house and piggery west of - Lower Boskinning GV II Wash house, or possibly originally swill kitchen, and adjoining piggery. Circa mid C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roofs with gable ends. Plan: square-on-plan wash house with L-shaped piggery adjoining on the right (projecting at right angles at rear and returning on the right parallel to the wash house front). Exterior: north-north-west front. Wash house has window left and doorway right with another doorway almost adjoining (presumably for access to piggery feeding passage). The piggery has 3 doorway-front to the right-hand return wall and set back on the right a 3 doorway front with wide blocked cartshed doorway at its far left. Interior: not inspected.
