Piggery, Swill Kitchen And Wash House Immediately North Of Kerris Manor

The building is a piggery, swill kitchen, and wash house located immediately north of Kerris Manor, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It features granite rubble walls with granite dressings and a scantle slate roof with gable ends. There are two chimneys: an axial brick chimney over a cross wall towards the right and a larger brick chimney over the rear wall at the far right. The roof has three later skylights. The structure is a long rectangular range that includes four pigsties on the left, the swill kitchen in the middle right, and the wash house on the far right. The exterior is single storey and has a long low front with two pairs of blocked piggery doorways on the left, a doorway and small window for the swill kitchen, and a narrow doorway with an adjoining window at the far right. The doors are old ledged doors, and there are early 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected.
