Milestone. Probably circa 1864. Painted dressed granite monolith. Triangular- on-plan vertical-sided shaft over a rectangular-on-plan base. 2 rectangular sides of the shaft face the road obliquely and rise from large pyramidal stops Each of these sides has incised lettering and Arabic numerals. Pyramidal head. Left-hand side inscription : PENZANCE 11, LANDS END 21. Right-hand side inscription : HELSTON 2, FALMOUTH 14.
