Milestone. Probably circa 1864. Painted dressed granite monolith. Triangular- on-plan over a rectangular-on-plan base. 2 rectangular sides of the shaft face the road obliquely and rise from large pyramid stops. Each of these sides has incised lettering and Arabic numerals. Pyramidal head. Left-hand inscription: PENZANCE 6, LANDS END 16 Right-hand inscription: HELSTON 7, FALMOUTH 19
