Description
This is a barn located immediately north of Trenalls House and the Old Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from granite and killas rubble, with mostly oak lintels, and features grouted scantle slate roofs with gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan, with a slightly later addition on the right-hand side. The front (southwest) has doorways, including a wide doorway to the left of the center, with a pitching eye above a narrow doorway on either side, and ground and first floor windows on the far right. The barn is two storeys tall, with a loft partly in the roof space. The front of the building partly encloses a courtyard at the rear of Trenalls House and the Old Farmhouse. The interior has not been inspected.
