Description

The fish cellars at Prussia Cove date from the 19th century and are constructed from granite and killas rubble, with partly corrugated iron roofs and gable ends. There is a stone rubble stack with a brick shaft to the left, and a brick copper with a brick chimney located a few meters from the front. The building consists of a range of four adjoining one-room fishermen's huts, which are irregularly sited and built into the steep slope behind, overlooking a cliff near the front. The second cell from the left features a large fireplace on the left side. Each hut has a doorway and a small window at the front. The exterior is single-storey, with ledged doors and reused or 20th-century windows. This picturesque group of fishermen's huts is set in beautiful coastal scenery at Prussia Cove, overlooking Bessy's Cove.
