Description

SENNEN SENNEN COVE SW 32 NE 4/360 Building at approximately 40 metres - west of Capstan Cottage GV II Probably former fisherman's cellar and loft. Circa mid C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Concrete tile roof with brick chimneys over the left-hand gable end. Plan: Rectangular plan built into the bank at the rear, ramp up to first floor doorway in right-hand gable end. Exterior: 2 storeys (front). Unaltered elevations. 1 window north front has ground floor doorway on left and 16-pane casement window at first floor right. Wide doorway at left hand gable end with original 2-light casement at first floor left with vertical glazing bars and random panes. Old ledged doors. Interior not inspected. This building is one of 2 similar buildings which survive from a demolished complex of buildings associated with the fishing industry in this cove.
