Description

SENNEN SENNEN SW 32 NE 4/349 Churchtown House including - forecourt walls and railings GV II House. Circa early C19. Granite ashlar front, otherwise granite rubble with granite dressings. Concrete tile half-fit#ped roof with stone stacks over the hips. Plan: Double depth plan with probably 2 similar sized rooms at the front flanking a central entrance hall leading to stair hall between rear service rooms. Exterior: 2 storeys plus attic. Symmetrical 3 window west front with central round- headed doorway with rusticated long and short voussoirs over impost cornices. Plinth. Probably original panel door with fanlight. 3 hipped roof dormers. All windows are circa late C19 or C20 16-pane horned sashes. Interior not inspected. Shallow forecourt has low ashlar walls surmounted by circa early C19 iron railings. Central gateway with iron gate.
