Description
This is a farmhouse located west of Chiverton Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of painted rubble with roughly hewn granite quoins and lintels, topped with a wheat reed thatched roof featuring brick chimneys at the gable ends. The layout consists of two rooms with a cross or through passage between them. The left room, situated on higher ground, is likely the hall or kitchen, while the right room is probably the parlour. The building has two storeys and features a nearly symmetrical three-window south front with a central doorway. The windows to the left of the doorway are positioned closer together. The first floor includes early 19th-century 12-pane two-light casements to the left and above the doorway, while the other windows are later horned sashes. The entrance has a ledged door. The interior has not been inspected.
