Description

PERRANUTHNOE CHURCHTOWN, Perranuthnoe SW 52 SW 1/105 Outbuilding north west of Penlayree qv.

GV IT

Stable, dairy and washhouse left of Penlayree qv. Circa early C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Monopitch slurried scantle slate roof. Brick stack to rear right hand corner. Plan: range of 3 rooms: stable, left, dairy middle, and washhouse, right. Stable has doorway only to front. Exterior : Single storey. 2 window east front. 3 doorways: stable doorway left and the other doorways fairly close together with window at either side. Original hornless 12-pane sashes and ledged doors. Interior : virtually unaltered with original slate shelves in dairy and copper and other fittings in washhouse. The stable has ventilator window high up in rear wall.
