7/301 Trap house south west of church -

GV II

Trap house formerly used by the Methodist minister. Circa mid-late C19. Roughly coursed killas with dressed granite quoins, jambstones and lintels; slate sill to the only window opening and wooden lintel over the wider doorway. Scantle slate roof with gable ends. Rectangular plan with 2 openings to the south-west side: wide opening for a trap, left, and for a stable, right. Single storey. One window south-west front. Wide doorway, left, with double doors and doorway, right, with window opening between. Ledged doors and original 8-pane hornless upper sash and wooden slats to the lower sash. Interior not inspected. An unspoiled C19 Methodist minister's trap house situated very near the Church of Saint Sithney qv.
