SW6427 TORLEVEN ROAD 631-1/4/231 (East side) 22/05/72 Apple loft immediately east of St Elvan Farmhouse (Formerly Listed as: TORLEVEN ROAD St Elvan Farmhouse and attached farm buildings)

Probable apple loft and attached earth closet. c1840. Killas rubble with some granite dressings and timber lintels, at least 2 of which are reused ships' timbers; corrugated asbestos roof. Small rectangular plan with stone steps at right-hand end and later lean-to earth closet at the other end. 2 storeys. Front has 2 doorways with ledged doors. Similar door to loft at right-hand end. Rear has partly-blocked window over original horizontal-sliding 6-pane sash with zinc gauze over left-hand light. INTERIOR has original floor and roof structure with nailed collars. Part of a fine and complete farm group.
