Description

Lanner Vean Farmhouse is an early to mid-19th century farmhouse constructed of local killas rubble with granite dressings. It has a grouted scantle slate roof and brick end stacks. The building follows a double-depth plan and presents a symmetrical three-window facade. The front elevation features original 16-pane hornless sash windows, and a central doorway with a 20th-century glazed door and a three-pane overlight. The rear elevation also has original sash windows with glazing bars, with the exception of a 16-pane two-light casement on the left side. A taller stair window is positioned to the right of centre, along with a doorway with a three-pane overlight and a lean-to porch on the left-hand end. The interior was only partially inspected, but the original staircase remains.
