Description
This milestone, located on the south-west side of Sithney Common Hill, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of painted dressed granite and features a pyramidal head. The base is square, and the shaft is triangular in plan, rising from large pyramid stops. The left-hand face is inscribed with "PENZANCE/ 12/ LANDS END/ 22," while the right-hand face reads "HELSTON/ 1/ FALMOUTH/ 11."
