Description
Wee Cottage is a cottage that possibly dates from the late 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, painted on the ground floor, with asbestos slate cladding on the first floor. The roof is made of asbestos slate and features a gabled end. The building likely has a one-room plan that is almost square with a splayed corner. It may have originally served as a later wing to the nearby Demelza or as a separate one-room cottage attached to that earlier house.
The cottage has two storeys and an asymmetrical front with a single window on the right side, which is blank and splayed at the back. The ground floor includes a 20th-century part-glazed door on the left and a four-pane sash window to the right. On the first floor, there is a 20th-century two-light casement window with glazing bars. The side elevation faces a small stream that runs parallel to Lansallos Street. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
