Description

Pennine is a cottage, probably from the early 19th century. It is built of painted rubble and cob, with blocked out render on the front. The roof is made of asbestos slate and features a brick chimney at one gable end. The cottage was originally designed as a one-room plan and has two storeys. The east-facing front, which faces the road, has two windows. There is a 20th-century top-glazed door in the original opening to the right, and a lean-to with a 20th-century glazed porch that has small panes. The windows are 16-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
