Description

NORTH HILL SX 27 NE 4/154 House adjoining on west of the Racehorse Inn II House and garden wall to front. Probably late C18. Stone rubble with dressed quoins. Slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble end stacks. Plan: Double depth plan with central entrance. Principal rooms to front heated by end stacks and narrow service rooms to rear. Exterior: Two storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front with dressed stone arches to ground and first floor openings. Original casements with crown glass. Central late C18 or early C19 panelled door with slate hipped hood flanked by two 2-light casements with three similar casements on first floor. C19 garden wall to front of stone rubble. Interior not inspected.
