Description
This is a piggery and cartshed located approximately 100 metres west of Tresidder Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features scantle slate roofs. The cartshed, which is attached to the right of the piggery, has a half-hipped roof, while the left end of the piggery is hipped. The roofs are topped with red clay ridge tiles and ventilator finials.
The building has a long rectangular plan, consisting of the piggery with seven pigsties and a deeper square outbuilding on the right side. It is a single-storey structure. The east front shows the piggery on the left, which follows the slope of the land, and the cartshed on the right. The piggery features seven doorways with old ledged doors. There is a wide doorway with an old sliding ledged door on the left-hand side of the cartshed. The interior has not been inspected.
