Chyverton Home Farmhouse

Chyverton Home Farmhouse is a pair of estate cottages built around the late 18th century. They feature rubble and cob walls with timber lintels, and have a dry Delabole slate half hipped roof with a central axial brick stack. The cottages have an identical but mirror-image layout, each consisting of a one-room plan with a service room and entrance lobby located in a single-storey lean-to at the back, which is positioned behind a front parapet at either end. There is also a later 19th-century lean-to at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window south front, with doorways located at the far left and right. The doors and windows, which date from the early 20th century, are in their original openings and include ledged doors and 12-pane 2-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
